Traveling to Curacao

Whether you arrive in Curaçao on a private jet, yacht, cruise ship, or by air flight, there are a few things you will need to have in order to get past customs. First, you will need to bring your digital immigration card, and yes, every visitor that wishes to stay on the island (even if it is only for a day) will have to fill out the application online. You also have to have your passport to make sure you can return home, or else you might have to extend your vacation for a few more days.

With the most important items on the list checked off, we have something else to focus on. Where will we stay, and what are the current rates of hotels/resorts in Curaçao? As of October 05, 2020, the rates start from $74 - $180 USD ($132 - $321 ANG).  ACOYA Curacao Resort, Villas & Spa, is the cheapest resort I was able to find. It is a 4-star resort that offers Villas (with or without a pool), apartments, or rooms to rent! Not only is it a place to stay for your trip, but it also offers free wifi, a coffee maker, and a 40 inch TV!

After a long day, we can pass by Boca 19 Curaçao. There we can try dishes freshly caught and bought from their local fisherman! Eat and relax from your long day, eat a tuna sashimi salad with a drink in hand, while admiring the view of Santa Barbara beach. Enjoy this casually elegant restaurant and take that cheesecake to go for a late-night dessert!

Itinerary

With flight tickets and the nights at the hotel, we are looking at about $1,150 USD. This price does not include meals and/or rentals for the entire trip. That being said it might be a bit pricey for some, but that is booking one of the cheapest flights and hotels!
